Between Us — Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 5, 2026

Between Us is built for small, private groups of people to build a shared trivia archive together. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

How we use it

Solely to run the app: creating your account, showing you your sets, letting the people you invite see what you've added, and notifying you about activity in sets you're part of. Nothing here is used for advertising, and nothing is sold.

Who can see your information

Only the specific people you invite into a set, and only for the sets they're actually part of. Nothing is public, searchable, or visible to anyone outside a set.

Third parties

The app runs on Google Firebase, which stores and processes this data on our behalf under Google's own data processing terms. We don't share your information with any other third party.

Your choices

You can change your display name at any time in Settings. You can delete your account at any time, either in-app or through a web request if you're unable to open the app. Deleting your account removes your name and photos from every set you're part of. Because a set is something built together with someone else, the questions and notes you added remain part of it — only your personal presence and photos are removed, and the other participant is told plainly that you've left.

Children

This app is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.

Changes

We'll update this policy if what we collect or how it's used changes, and update the date above when we do.
